I never wanted to order a refurb drive, but this has been a solid purchase.5 Year warranty provided which gave me confidence to proceed.Received the drive in good time, installed and tested OK.A little noisier than I would like, but nothing to be worried about.Will gladly buy again as needed.

Upgraded my NAS from 4TB x4 to 10TB x4. Totally amazing to not having to worry about storage space. should have done this sooner. Yes, they are used and yes, one was DOA (dead on arrival) but otherwise I am having no issues. The defective item was returned and refunded. Performance is solid and I have not had any issues since. Thinking about the price, it is a no brainer. Now you may say that the reconditioned drives are higher risk of failure but, my NAS is backed up daily to the cloud so feel that I have enough resiliency. So for less than the price of the new 4TB drives, I was able to upgrade them to 10TB. Sold the 4TB for a good price so all in all, an excellent upgrade.

Took an absolute age to arrive but I've got it backing up my rom catelog now. Creaks and bangs and makes all kinds of noises so isn't quiet at all but at this price who cares?

These are a few years old but come with a years returnable warranty in the UK,which I have not used - so no idea how well it works. The description says it has a 5 year warranty but I suspect sending it back to the US might not be worth it.However, i have bought 3 of these drives and they all seem to be working ok in my unraid setup - I don't think i would trust the drives in solitary use (i use 2 parity drives in my unraid setup which allows the failure of 2 drives at any one time in my setup)Beaware that whilst these are sata connectors drives you MUST use the included adaptor otherwise the drive stays in power-down mode - the included cable keeps it in power on mode.

not worth the money I wont buy again

Unbeatable value for money with these renewed HDDs. Theres no place in the UK I would be able to get a 10TB HDD for this cheap. No bad sectors on this and the transfer speed was very impressive compared to my existing drive. I will be back soon to buy more!!UPDATE: Orders 3 of these so far. Last one arrived almost 2 weeks early. Blazing fast delivery and like new quality!
