My dog is a butt when it comes to getting on the couch - and he scratches each cushion to make a comfy spot for himself, which has put a hole in every single cushion! It’s been so frustrating because nothing has seemed to work to keep him off the couch - and I tried everything.These mats seem to work really well- I just have to put my workout weight on them to keep my dog from being able to knock them off the couch, which he did the first time I put them on.They are lightweight and easy to move- which is perfect for taking on and off, and so far they have been able to hold up with my various weights being placed on them to hold them in place (which range from 5-10 lbs).They also come with these Velcro connections so that you can link them together, which helps your pet from targeting just one to take down, as now they’re all connected.So far, so good!

I got these several months ago for my Great Pyrenees/Border Collie mix who was fixated on chewing holes in the couch covers. I went through 4 sofa covers and two comforters trying to keep her from doing that and I was searching everywhere for a miracle and this was it. I cannot stress how much these have saved me! They’re big plastic squares that are very flexible. They have holes around the edges and come with Velcro strips so the squares can be attached to one another to the length you need. All I did was link 4 of them together and lay them on the couch. She was 5 and 6 months old when this was going on. Today she’s 11 months old and has not touched my couch. She did try to jump up on it once after I first got it and she learned real quick how not fun that is. DO worth every penny and then some. I still use them to this day because it’s better to be safe than sorry. If they hit an un carpeted floor, they do make a really loud noise. Super easy to put together. Does exactly as described.

Works well! My dick arse dog whom I love is no longer getting on the couch. He is an Anatolian Shepherd and super smart. I cannot be home all day to keep him off the couch. He thought himself how to recline the couch. I just got this couch and want to keep it for a while so no dogs are allowed on the couch. I can now leave my house and know he will not get up on it . Win for me. He has a nice bed to lay on!As mentioned by others they are lightweight pads. The spikes on them are firm. If you really want them to stay on the couch get some Velcro for the bottoms. To attach to the couch. Other than that they are working. My kids have said he might chew them up. We will see if he pulls them off. Velcro is ready just in case. I used 6 and overlapped them so it’s a line across my couch. So far so good. Picture is before the spikes. No more sleeping dog on my couch!

These mats are going to save my new sofa from doggy hair and smell. My dogs haven't eventried to get on the furniture. The mats are thin plastic with pointy things on top. They are maybe 12x12 maybe a bit bigger. You can hook them together in different patterns to fit your needs. I just placed one on each cushion.

SO far it is keeping my dogs off the couch. We have moved and the dogs no longer have their own couch and they started to lay on our "good" couch. The issues I have is that I am not 100% certain how to store when we are not using. It is not simply fold up and put under the couch. It is more of a process to place them and put them away and out of sight. The ties that came with the mats has Velcro and this sticks to my couch and for the purpose of not snagging my couch I cannot use them. The corner pads also do not keep them from slipping it only made it so we cannot stack them on top of each mat to put away.

These things work and they are wonderful! I wish I had found them a long time ago! My dog loves to watch dog agility competitions on tv but she jumps onto my entertainment center scratching the finish. These little spikes stop her in her tracks and keeps her back from the tv

Two stars because it'll likely still work for my purposes. This is 3x more expensive than most of the other scat mats so I was expecting higher quality plastic. I was very disappointed to see that this is still super cheap and flimsy. The only difference between this and the other ones is that it comes with non-slip feet (useless when each mat weighs as much as a piece of paper) and velcro connectors. I could've bought some velcro, a hole puncher, and the cheaper scat mats and still saved at least $10. There's no way to justify a $36 price tag for this.

My dogs stay off the couch when I have these on. Worked for 50 lb dog and 13 lbs. it looks hideous to have them all over your sofa, but if you don’t want to get your furniture dirty, use them.
