Easy fit, and it's nice and tight in the door way.
Great product! This works great. I have it in a 36 inch door and it holds me (160 lbs.) easy. It's high quality and I'm more than happy with it.

Great for use at various heights
This is exactly what I needed. I wanted to be able to move it easily, lower to support a punching bag and higher for chin ups and Australian rows. This works great for that. It’s simple to put together and simple to move. It adjusts so I can use it in different size doorways. It was less expensive than other bars I’ve purchased and it’s a bit of a trade off. It only has the straight bar, but the flip over for push ups and not the extended handles of some of the others, but that gives it the ability to be placed at any height. The build quality is on par with the more expensive bars. This hasn’t done any damage to the door frames I’ve used. I like it.

Great pull up bar, if you have a sturdy door frame
This pull up bar installs easily and works great. I have an apartment with very sturdy, unconventional doorframes. The pull up bar that loops around the top of the frame wouldn't work in my case. This one does, and very well. The only warning, from other reviews too, is that your frame must be very sturdy, as it places significant lateral pressure on the frame. And, make sure you have room for it on the frame. Otherwise, I highly recommend this product.

Worked great but not for all door frames. May cause damage.
The product itself worked great. It works so well at tightening into the door frame that it actually split and damaged my door frame in the upper right corner. I am in an apartment so it’s probably a cheap/poorly made door frame. I tested the product out while it was up and it felt secured but I noticed my door no longer closed properly. So I tried putting it a few inches lower and not installing it as tight. I gave it a test and it slipped down and roughed up the paint along the inside of the door frame. My review on the product alone (if I had a strong enough door frame): it was easy to install, did not slip when properly installed, not enough width on the padded part, the level that is on there isn’t the most accurate. Unfortunately, I will be returning this item because my door frame cannot handle it.

Much Needed Improvement over prior models!
pros: Its a fix from the other ones on Amazon, this Bar has measurement marks on the bar, a level and combined wall pressure joints, much needed improvement over the poor quality designs in the price range.cons: marks need to be brighter or you will have to use a white marker to record your setting for on and off, otherwise its awesome.

Fell while using CORRECTLY - not worth it
I was extremely paranoid about using a bar like this, and so I watched videos and made sure I was mounting it correctly. I'm no slouch, and I cranked it down as hard as reasonably possible, and it still fell after a few days. Although the fall was shocking and painful, I was very fortunate that I didn't break anything, but I did bruise my knee pretty hard and foot pretty badly, while hyperextending my ankle/foot a bit. I could barely walk for the first few days.Never again.Just stick to the "traditional" kind that actually hang on the doorframe. That's what I'm going back to. They've never let me down in over 2 decades. This one literally let me down. hard and painfully.
