Q: This may sound silly. can i use this as a single channel amp where all the power can be used used for the left channel with the use of splitter cable?

Not a silly question. You can use this amp as a single channel. Input to only 1 L or R input. Combining L and R in to one cable if that is what you meant by splitter cable, is not recommended as you may be inputing too much signal voltage and get distortion. I would recommend using only the right channel output from your source as the right output is typically louder and stronger.

Q: My aiyima a08 pro will not pair with my chromecast with google tv via bluetooth, but it will pair with everything else. why would this be?
