Is this headset fairly comfortable for people with glasses?

Other than it being small in general, it fits just fine for me. I wear glasses almost 24/7 and I'd recommend them. I keep my set on a styrofoam head to keep them stretched and it helps immensely!

Is the cord detachable?

No,the cord is not detachable on theses headphones. I personally like the longer than standard cord (9 feet). If I were interested in a detachable cord I would just go with cordless headphones.
