Using these for air filtration on grain jars for medicinal mushroom mycology. They are large enough to use just one, and still provide a good amount of air exchange.Under a microscope the fiber looks consistent, without any obvious gaps or holes.The case these come in is also great, it is rigid enough to provide protection for the rather thin sheets - keeping them flat, clean and dry.

I recently purchased this PTFE Membrane Disc Filter for use in my lab, and it has exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and performance (held up under pressure). Its hydrophobic coating makes it ideal for filtering gases (keeps fuild back), while the 0.45µm pore size ensures effective trapping of bacteria and other particles.I've used this filter for a variety of applications already, and its 47mm diameter is ideal for quick large-volume filtering.The PTFE membrane material should be resistant to solvents, which is great over paper filters that sometimes come apart. I've been impressed with its durability, was able to use each several times.Consider they also have 22um filters as well, those worked well too!

These filters work great for mycology grow bags. They're the perfect size, they stay put well, and most importantly, they filter the air keeping your grow bag sanitary and safe from contamination.
