Q: Do these require a lot of pressure to close/grasp?

I’d say the usual amount of pressure is required. Gripping tightly will increase chances of removing the hair or splinter.

Q: What’s the difference between the angels? Do they have different uses?

Just guessing... I have used the pointed one for slivers and eyebrows, the flat and slanted ones for tweezing hairs, and haven’t used the other yet. I think I read one is good also for tick removal. The quality is amazing... I’ve never seen these in a store.
