Always check with your vet but do you cat or dog a favor, start them on Cosequin when they get to be around 5 years old. PeterForsberg was adopted at the age of 4, he's a big guy and I noticed he hesitated before jumping up on a counter or furniture...oh yeah, your cat would never! I gave this to my animals for years. It helps them so much. PF has no problem jumping as high as he wants these days, and he looks forward to his Cosequin snack everyday.

This product is GREAT for older cats. I have noticed my older cat moves around better since I started giving him this product. He now thinks this is his treats. More healthy and better or him than "Temptation's".

Cat thinks it is a treat so very easy to give. Sadly had to stop giving as it caused him to have loose stools and poop outside the liter box.
