Q: Will it damage the window pvc frame?

I wouldn't think the actual product would damage a PVC window frame as you stick the strip to it, however I could not say that it wouldn't cause damage if you had to remove it. This is due to the fact the adhesive used is very strong (as advertised), so removing magnetic strip, should it be neccessary could be quite difficult. I think this product is made to be used and left in situe permanently. It is the adhesive side which comes into contact with the frame and then magnetises itself to metal. I cannot see any other way in which this product could damage a pvc window frame, I used mine on a wardrobe, to hold back panels in place, instead of nailing them in and this product works beautifully. This is only my personal opinion but if in doubt, you could contact a professional window supplier who could definitely answer this query.

It does but its not very strong. you might need stronger magnets to hold a folder together

I presume you mean perspex, it will hold perspex to a window as long as there is a metal strip of some kind stuck to the window glass, as it is to this metal strip the magnectic strip attaches itself to. We have used it to attach a back panel (wood) in a wardrobe which we had no access to, used a adhesive metal strip on the wardrobe carcass so that the magnetic strip which was on the back wooden panel could stick too wardrobe. Works well, however in your case you would see the metal strip and magnetic strip through the glass & perspex.

Avoid at all costs as it really does NOT work at all! 1*

Disappointing and IneffectiveUnfortunately, this magnetic tape did not live up to expectations. Despite following the instructions carefully, it simply doesn’t stick well to surfaces or hold any weight. The adhesive is weak, and the magnetic strength is almost nonexistent—items fall off easily, making it completely unreliable for even light-duty use. I had hoped to use it for organizing small tools and notes, but it failed across the board. A frustrating purchase that didn’t deliver on its promises.

Not as Advertised!

This tape said ‘extra strong’. For me it was a total waste of money. I bought it to stick on the underside of a small pine grooming box to hold three pairs of scissors. The tape would not stick to the wood (plain wood, no paint, stain or wax). The edges kept curling up and had to be secured with a strip of wood each side. Then, when it was in place, every time the lid was closed, the scissors fell off! It neither has extra strong magnetism or extra strong adhesive. Not recommended.
