Impressed my teenage anime fanatic son!
Very beautiful! This ramen bowl was a surprise- while a little pricey- it is definitely precious and table worthy! If you handle it carefully while opening the box it comes in- the bowl sings! I am not sure how it will hold up to use or if we should just display the pair (bought 2). We will see- will update if anything changes.

Red
I brought this bowl for my nephew. Because he wanted to learn how to use chopsticks while eating. Red is his favorite color? He enjoys and like this bowl.

Very eye apealing!
I haven't actually eaten out of these myself yet, but they look great on my shelf. These are large sturdy bowls. The spoons don't seem very practical, though. They're shallow and ceramic, just like the bowls. If you drop one... Well, that's it. In any case, I think they're just for novelty and show anyway. In this area they do their job admirably! If you actually want to eat out of these babies, use the chopsticks or your good old western spoons and forks in your draws. Or, if you have them, the traditional Japanese spoons. They're pretty easy to find online.
